“You have to be curious about your own mind, your own ideas. Then you have to be curious about what you’re going to make. And then, to get good at it — at any art form — you have to be curious about what you can do with your medium.” ~ Deanne Fitzpatrick
Deanne Fitzpatrick is a virtuoso rug hooker. Her art looks like the love child of wool and Vincent Van Gogh.
She searches for–and finds–fresh and beautiful things in the world around her. Every day. She supports others in doing the same.
Deanne encourages all of us to lean into creating — creating beauty, creating community, and creating that all-essential time for ourselves.
And she has thoughts about how curiosity can help.
Blessed be the makers for they find hope in the unknown.
