“Sometimes I think that gets a little lost in our daily lives — but these are tools that are not only easy, but they can be fun and are completely transformative.” ~ Lauren Henkin
I don’t know about you, but sometimes the curiosity just isn’t there for me.
I “fake it until I make it”– I act like I’m curious. I behave in curious ways, in hopes the feelings will follow.
Wouldn’t it be nice if there were an app for that?
Enter The Humane Space. Lauren Henkin created the lifestyle company and first-of-its-kind app to help people find greater meaning in life through curiosity, wonder and awe.
We talked about the staggering number of people who don’t feel they know how to live curiously as adults; powerful portals such as guided visualization, awe walks and listening to soundscapes; what architecture education taught her; curiosity’s profound impact on relationships; patterns of behavior; reflection and decision-making — and the “cousins” of curiosity, wonder and awe.
Curiosity is the articulation of our truest selves.

If you would like to support the work, The Human Space offers a partnership and commission structure. (Note: I do not participate in those structures and was in no way compensated for this conversation other than the delight of it!)
Listen to Unapologetically Black Unicorns. Keris and I talked about curiosity in an anxious age. And Keris joined me on C2BC some years ago to explore curiosity and skepticism.
