Social Enterprise: Curiosity, Innovation & Purpose, with Timothy D. Craggette

“Where your strong word is ‘curious’, my strong word is ‘innovation.’ Those things play together because it’s all about the macro and the micro.” ~ Timothy D. Craggette

I’ve been reading about purpose lately and this conversation with small business and social enterprise educator Timothy D. Craggette was a perfect extension of that line of inquiry.

I’m intrigued by the concept of social enterprises — businesses with a sense of purpose larger than themselves.

Timothy is founder and Chief Education Officer of NAASBI, The National Association for the Advancement of Small Business Innovation.  He trains business owners and supports small business innovation through the association and his radio show/podcast The Swift Kick Show. Timothy is a man with a purpose.

I wanted to know how curiosity shows up in his line of work.

Turns out, for this businessman, it’s all about the people.

“I’m curious about their success, their idea of success, and the systems that need to be in place for success.”
